Purpose of Assignment:

 

The purpose of this assignment is to define a clinical problem, review the literature for appropriate research supported nursing interventions, critique current practice and provide a plan for changing or adapting clinical practice

 

Approach to Assignment:

 

When completing this assignment, I selected a problem that was very near and dear to the heart of my nursing environment. I found research evidence to prove the problem to be an adequate safety concern and then used further research and experience to discuss solutions.

            Including the assignment, provides evidence of research abilities, effective writing skills, adequate knowledge of an existing problem, advocacy for better patient care, and the ability to share information with my peers.
